NBA Finals 2011 Game 2 - Miami Heat leads 1-0 in the best of seven series and they still have the home-court advantage. Can the Mavericks bounce back and even up the series or will the Heat strike another blow to leads the series 2-0? Those are the questions that will be answered tonight.
Only 3 more wins and the Miami Heat will be NBA champions. But I don't think their road ahead is that easy. Game 2 will be a much tougher games for the Miami big 3. Yes they have limited the Mavs to only 84 points but still they have not stopped dirk Nowitski from playing his game. Nowitski still tallied a total of 27 points 8 rebounds and a perfect 12/12 on the line.
The Miami's defense were superb the whole game and those were the key factors why they win. Miami's big 3 were at their best in game 1 but I don't think they can have those intensity the whole series. Still I am giving game 2 to Miami that is considering Dirk will not have a 100% hand on game 2. The heat stars still much gas on the tank and will be very difficult for the Mavs team to slow them down.
So what does the Dallas Mavericks team needs to stop Miami's onslaught? That is not playing the Miami's game. Defense will still be their main offense and the bench players needs to step up to back up Dirk on the offensive end. JJ Barea wa impressive on the OKC series but on game 1 against Miami he was very silent scoring only 2 points on 1/8 shooting.
